IPIP to become part of the Kraftanlagen Group


IPIP S.A. will become a fully owned subsidiary of Kraftanlagen Romania S.R.L (KAR). Its parent company, Kraftanlagen Munchen GmbH, will take over IPIP S.A. and assign it to the Ploieşti-based KAR subsidiary. The implementation of the purchase agreements signed on 06.04.2016 is applicable subject to the fulfilment of conditions precedent.


The name Kraftanlagen has stood for efficient plant technology for more than 90 years. As a versatile service provider for industry and the energy sector, the Kraftanlagen Group is utilising state-of-the-art processes and technologies all across Europe. Founded in 2007, Kraftanlagen Romania S.R.L. engineers and implements sophisticated piping and plant systems for the chemical and petrochemical industry as a general contractor or as individual lots. The service portfolio includes the erection of entire plant sections and the prefabrication of spools, modules, steel constructions and brackets, as well as the execution of maintenance work, underground piping constructions for oil, gas, steam and water. Services are also provided within the electrical and automation sector, as well as for the infrastructure of the oil and gas industry with regard to extraction and processing.


IPIP has already enjoyed a long and successful collaborative relationship with KAR through joint projects. We are very happy to have found such a strong strategic partner in the Kraftanlagen Group, and hope to continue our positive development together with them. The IPIP S.A. will be at your disposal as usual. Our location in Ploieşti, as well as our competences and employees, will remain unchanged. All projects will continue with the same personnel and their familiar contact persons. Our affiliation with the Kraftanlagen Group will allow us to further expand our service portfolio in the future.
